Back at it

 HELLLOOOO friends. I know it has been quite some time since I published a blog post, (almost a year actually). So let me catch you up to speed on what all has been going on in our crazy little life. So last October just after my last blog post, we bought our first home! Getting out of our tiny 2 bedroom apartment was such a breath of fresh air. This home has created so many memories in just a short year and I am so thankful. We were finally able to store all our clothes! (Mostly Kyler’s), have a kitchen table where we have spent so many dinners getting to watch Karsynn learn and grow while eating, its been so fun. Our pups finally have a yard to play in, Karsynn has all the space to play, and I finally have walls to decorate however I please which is the best part. The holidays last year were so special getting to celebrate them together in our new home, and made me so excited for all the years to come.  After the Holidays winded down and life got back to normal things were good. Karsynn’s Birth Story

Trying to find the words to describe giving birth is super hard, but it was by far the most euphoric and empowering experience of my life. I will never forget the way I felt when I saw her sweet little face and heard that high pitched cry for the first time. The love I immediately felt for her in that moment was the purest feeling, and that love continues to grow every single day. I never really knew what to expect with labor and delivery, Kyler was working a lot and I was in school full time so we never were both available for birthing/parenting classes, etc. (so yes were just winging this whole thing). It amazes me how our bodies and minds just know what its doing, and how to do things. At 29 weeks we had what we thought would be our last sonogram before we met our sweet girl. The sonogram tech just kept saying “wow big baby” over and over again. We laughed it off until she started taking measurements. Our precious little girl was measuring about 4 weeks ahead at this point, so my

Our forever

“You are my best friend, the love of my life, and I can’t wait to grow old with you. I love you Kyler Justyce, always and forever.“ Those are just a few of the words that I never thought I’d say at just 21 years old. I never imagined myself wearing a beautiful white dress, standing next to a man in front of all of our friends and family, and promising my love to another person for the rest of my life at such a young age. But after April 5th, 2017 (REMEMBER THIS DATE) those thoughts quickly changed, and God had much bigger plans for my life than I could have ever imagined.  Kyler and I met on a wild Wednesday night. I remember (almost) every detail of that night perfectly. He was this tall, handsome stranger who at first glance I knew without a doubt that he was going to be someone special in my life. We talked he night away, before he walked me back to my dorm room. On our walk he bet that if the next day I remembered his name that he would take me out on a date. We talk
